CEO Andrew Maren on closing 2024 and unlocking the possibilities of 2025
As the end of another year approaches, it’s time for me to reflect on what we’ve accomplished together and look ahead to the opportunities waiting for us in 2025. To our team, clients and partners, I want to extend my gratitude for your ongoing drive and show of resilience in a year that challenged and rewarded us in new ways.
In 2024, we’ve seen how ProfitShare Partners can empower SMEs across the country. With over R 1 billion in Business Funding already provided to SMEs, creating over 1 500 new jobs, and sustaining more than 3 000 more jobs, small businesses can give South Africa’s economy the kick-start it needs. From new milestones in SME financing to fostering entrepreneurship with our profit-sharing model, we’re achieving lasting change.
A year of innovation and impact
Our commitment to helping SMEs succeed has been the golden thread running through 2024. As an organisation, we continued to break barriers for access to capital, enabling businesses to fulfil large contracts, invest in assets, and even venture into alternative energy projects. This has been possible thanks to our focus on creating agile, tailor-made solutions that help SMEs solve their unique business challenges.
Additionally, the year saw us take strides in adopting advanced technologies. We introduced AI-driven processes to streamline our services. In doing so, we’ve also empowered our clients with faster access to capital and smarter financing. This evolution highlights our pursuit of efficiencies while demonstrating our commitment to pioneering fintech solutions that fuel sustainable business growth.

As our thoughts turn towards the upcoming holiday season, I encourage everyone in the ProfitShare Partners family to take a step back and savour these wins.
